Make the feet wider: Spread the weight of the furniture over a larger area to help prevent the carpet dents. The dents will be shallower and recover more easily by placing the furniture disks or larger pieces of wood under the feet so that the weight is distributed over a larger area. Periodically move the furniture: In order to prevent them in the first place is the most effective way to not have carpet dents.
